TNA Bound For Glory 2010

The show opens with the typical kick-ass video package. We're welcomed live into the arena in Daytona, Florida by Mike Tenay. Next up is Taz with a few words. They run down the bigger matches on the card, including a promise that "They" will be revealed tonight. A promise is also made for a new TNA Champion due to the no DQ, no countout and no time-limit stipulations.


TNA Tag-Team Titles:
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Generation Me

Generation Me took action in attacking Shelly's injured neck. Jeremy hit a great kick that commentator's pointed out was to Shelly's neck. Taz questioned how Tenay couldn't get along with Generation Me. MCMG start makin there comeback. Shelly hit's a big dive to ringside and fans popped huge. The Guns hit an innovative double team move at 8:15. The Guns got a near fall said the announcer. Generation Me came back and the fans cheered when Sabin kicked out. The Guns finished and ended up scoring the pin to win the match.

Backstage: Christy Hemme Interviews Madison Rayne & Tara

Backstage, Christy Hemme speaks with Madison Rayne and Tara. Rayne tells Hemme she's a bitch and said Bozo The Clown wants his hair back. Madison tells Tara she's indebted to her for life. Madison calls herself the queen of TNA, not Mickie James. When she said that, however, Tara pointed at herself (signifying that she's the queen.)

X-Division Title Mach
Jay Lethal vs. Douglas Williams

Williams has new ring attire. Announcers remind everyone that Ric Flair wants Williams to bring the X-Title back to Fortune. Williams hits a number of suplexes on Lethal early on. Very soon thereafter, Lethal hits a roll-up on Williams out of nowhere for the shocking pinfall victory.

After The Match

Lethal runs into the crowd to celebrate with the fans. Out of nowhere, Lethal is attacked by Robbie G. of The Shore. Cookie grabs the X-Title and runs off. Robbie brings Lethal in the ring and beats him up a bit. Cookie returns and gets in the ring to join Robbie as they stand over a fallen Lethal.

In-Ring Segment: Abyss & "They"

Abyss is in the ring now. He talks about how he's hyped up "They" for a while now. He says the date is finally upon us. He mentions how it begins with the demolition of Rob Van Dam and continues with the takeover, because it's 10/10/10. As he continues to speak, he is interrupted by Rob Van Dam's theme music.


Monster's Ball:
Abyss vs. Rob Van Dam

RVD is a flurry of offense early. It isn't long before a barbed-wire board is brought into the ring. Abyss hits the board on a bump-spot early. RVD tries Rolling Thunder onto Abyss but Abyss moves and RVD crashes onto the barbed-wire board. Fans chant "holy shit" on that. Back inside the ring, Abyss tries to hit Van Dam with a chair, but RVD kicks it into his face. RVD set up for the Van Terminator, but Abyss recovered and knocked him off the ropes and onto the barbwire table. Van Dam re-enters the ring with blood all over his face. Much more back and forth until Van Dam gets Abyss with a frog splash for the pin.

Winner: Rob Van Dam


Sting & Kevin Nash & D'Angelo Dinero vs. Samoa Joe & Jeff Jarrett

There is a loud chant for Joe who opens the match against Pope. Taz says that Joe is fighting this match out of respect for Hulk Hogan. Sting tags in. Sting goes tot he corner and attacked Jarrett until Joe intervened. Nash tags in but doesn't stay in long as Pope tags vack in and went back to work on Joe.Samoa Joe fumed as Jarrett backed up the ramp. Sting, Nash, and Pope all entered the ring. Nash pointed at Jarrett and said, "I told you." Joe attacked Nash, but he was quickly outnumbered. He kneed Joe in the gut and then hit the Jackknife powerbomb. Nash pinned Joe to win the match for his trio.

In Ring Segment Team 3D

Brother Ray goes through all the belts they've already. Brother Ray lets it be known they have done all there is to do as Team 3D other than fight the very best team in TNA so after they fight Motor City Machine Guns they will be retiring.


Lethal Lockdown
Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Stevie Richards, Sabu, and Raven (w/Mick Foley) vs. A.J. Styles, Kazarian, Matt Morgan, James Storm, and Robert Roode (w/Ric Flair)


Each man comes out to their music and pyro, entering the ring one by one as the crowd roars. Kazarian and Stevie Richards start the match for their teams. Fortune has the advantage due to a match they won on Impact. Styles was in next for the heels, and Dreamer followed for the faces. Richards sold an ankle injury, but had no problem holding up Kazarian for a move while Dreamer jumped off the ropes at him. The match continues with much back and forth between Dreamer and Styles throughout the match. Towards the end Dreamer starts to get the upper hand attacking Styles. Dreamer hit the Dreamer Driver on Styles and pins him for the win.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Stevie Richards, Sabu, and Raven (w/Mick Foley)


Backstage:

After the Lockdown match is over they cut backstage to Hemme interviewing Kurt Angle. Hemme notes that Angle said he would retire if he lost the match. Angle said he wasn't in the mood to talk but he guarantees he will become the TNA Champion.


Three-Way Match (no disqualifications, no countouts, and no time limit)
Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy


Kurt Angle comes to the ring as his music hits and the crowd roars. Out next is Jeff Hardy followed by Mr. Anderson. Angle gets the first major move in the match by hitting a double suplex on both Hardy and Anderson. Anderson is bleeding instantly on the top of his head. Angle and Anderson continue to fight ringside. Back inside the ring Angle hits a bunch of German suplexes on Anderson and Hardy. While Angle has Hardy in an ankle lock Anderson tries to break the hold but Angle sees it coming and knocks him down and applies a double ankle lock on both wrestlers. Anderson then picks up Kurt in a fireman's carry and does a summersault for the pin but Hardy is able to break it up with a Swankton onto Anderson. Angle gets Hardy with an Angle Slam for a near fall to no avail. The match continues to go back and forth until Eric Bischoff comes to the ring with a chair in his hand, standing over Angle and Anderson but before he is able to use it Hulk Hogan's music hits the arena. Hogan makes his way to the arena with a security guard while fumbling his way into the ring with his crutches. Somehow Bischoff ends up with one of Hogan's crutches and Hogan hands his remaining crutch to a beaten Hardy. Hardy turns and hits Angle with the crutch. Anderson gets to his knees and Hardy hits him with the chair in his back. Hardy hits the Twist of Fate on Anderson. There is a three count with Hardy getting the win. Bischoff takes the mic and announces Jeff Hardy as the new TNA Champion.

After The Match:

TNA president Dixie Carter is shown shaking her head in disgust. Jeff Jarrett comes out and hugs Hulk Hogan. Abyss comes out and does the same. Rob Van Dam comes out and tries talking to Jeff Hardy, but Hardy hits RVD with the title belt instead. The show goes off the air as all of the heels celebrate and fans fill the ring with trash.
