Full Results

The show opens with a big, elaborate video package centered around the Sting vs. Bobby Roode main event.

Following the video package, we enter the arena as the pyro explodes and the announcers, Taz and Mike Tenay, run down tonight's featured bouts.

In-Ring Segment: Bully Ray & James Storm

Bully Ray's music hits and out he comes. Bully Ray quickly makes his way to the ring. Ray grabs the mic and orders the sound-man to shut off his ring music. He paces around in a huff before sending a referee to the back. The crowd chants for Devon. Ray doesn't seem pleased. Ray asks the fans if they know who he is. The crowd chants "you suck" at Ray. Ray says that right now he is the talk of the wrestling world. He claims to be trending worldwide on Twitter. He says he's trending, not because he's the toughest man in the world, not because he's calf-zilla (I love how fat people brag about having big calf muscles, by the way) but because he's taking the PPV hostage. Ray threatens that the fans will not get a PPV tonight if he doesn't get what he wants -- which is for his match with James Storm to be for the #1 contendership at Lockdown. He claims he'll beat up anyone who tries coming to the ring to stop him. James Storm finally comes out. He says Ray has chicken legs. Storm says he'll knock him out and remove him from the ring. Storm agrees to make their match for the #1 contendership.

#1 Contender For The World Title

James Storm

vs.

Bully Ray

From there, Storm hits the ring and the match is immediately underway. Ray ambushes Storm and beats him into the corner, taking him to each corner of the ring to pound away at him. Ray grabs Storm's beer and takes a swig, but as he turns around he runs into a Last Call superick by Storm. Storm pins him for the easy 1-2-3. The match is over, just like that!

Winner: James Storm

Backstage: Jeremy Borash, Eric Bischoff & Austin Aries

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Austin Aries. Borash announces that they will be taking questions from Twitter for all of the guests backstage at Victory Road tonight. The first question asks when Sting will smarten up and let Aries main event a TNA PPV. Eric Bischoff breaks in and asks if Borash is really here. He tries sending Borash away. Borash asks if Bischoff's name is Dixie Carter. Bischoff ultimately sends him away anyways. Bischoff grabs the microphone and sings Aries' praises. He apologizes for Aries having to spend any time with Borash. He re-asks him the Twitter question. Aries says he doesn't have to be the last match on the show to be the main event. Aries says he's always the main event, no matter where he's positioned on the card. Bischoff and Aries kiss each other's ass one more time to end the segment.

X-Division Championship Match

(C) Austin Ares

vs.

Zema Ion

Aries and Ion get in each other's faces as soon as the bell rings. Ion slaps Aries. Aries charges but Ion bails out to the floor. Ion grabs his hairspray can and gives himself a little spritz. Ion catches Aries with a boot to the stomach. Aries grabs Ion’s hairspray and takes a break in the corner, to Ion’s chagrin. Ion charges and Aries catches him in a roll up for two. Aries slaps Ion across the face and hits him with a couple clubbing blows, but Ion rolls to the apron. Ion heads up to the top turnbuckle, and Aries simply shoves him off to the floor. Aries hits the heat seeking missile which sends Ion to the barricade on the floor. Aries pulls a telephone out and tweets a message before handing his phone to So Cal Val. Aries sends Ion back into the ring and hits a slingshot senton and lionsault, but can’t keep Ion down. Aries hits a snap mare and follows with a missile dropkick to the back from the second rope. Aries puts Ion down to the mat and calls for the pendulum elbow, but Ion rolls to the apron. Ion pulls Aries out of the ring, forcing him to the floor. Ion hits Aries with a back elbow before clotheslining him over the top and out to the floor. Ion goes out to the apron and launches himself from the second rope with a moonsault to the outside on top of Aries. Aries goes for the corner dropkick, but Ion uses the hairspray, and rolls up Aries. Aries kicks out. Ion hits a giant suplex and goes for another pin but Aries is still able to kick out. Ion charges Aries in the corner with a spear, before seating him on the top turnbuckle. Ion tries hitting Aries with a superplex but Aries reverses into a sunset flip-bomb. Aries is still blinded, struggling to see as he moves around the ring. He eventually finds Ion and hits the brainbuster on him before rolling through into the Last Chancery. Ion taps out.

Winner and STILL X-Division Champion: Austin Aries

Tag Team Title Match

(C) Samoa Joe & Brutus Magnus

vs.

Matt Morgan & Crimson

Morgan and Magnus start the match off. Before anything happens, Crimson tags himself in. Morgan seems confused. Magnus starts punching Crimson but Crimson sinks in a headlock. Both guys end up trading punches until Magnus tags Joe in. Joe gets a little bit of offense in before tagging Magnus back in. Crimson locks in a cravat and hits a couple of knees to the face before hitting a neckbreaker and pinning Magnus, but Magnus kicks out. Crimson continues to ignore Morgan’s requests for a tag, hitting Magnus with a big suplex that’s good for another near fall. Magnus is finally able to make the tag, but Crimson refuses. Joe comes in and peppers Crimson with punches, but runs into a big boot. Crimson goes for a clothesline from the second rope, but Joe walks away, then hits a snap slam for two. Joe whips Crimson across the ring, but Morgan tosses him out of the way before he can splash him. Morgan tags himself in and goes to town on the champs, hitting Magnus with a huge side slam. Crimson tags himself back into the match, but then Morgan tags himself back in. Morgan and Crimson bicker before Crimson ultimately walks out to the ramp. Morgan turns around into an atomic drop/big boot/senton. Joe goes for the pin but only gets two. Crimson talks trash to Morgan, so Morgan flips him off and says he doesn’t need him. Morgan tries to fight off the opposition, hitting them with a double clothesline, but he turns around and eats a spear from Crimson. Crimson smirks and calls himself a winner. Joe hits a corner kick, followed by a snapmare which sets up Morgan for the elbow drop from Magnus. Magnus pins Morgan for the victory.

Winners and STILL Tag Team Champions: Samoa Joe & Magnus

Backstage: Jeremy Borash With Bobby Roode & James Storm

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Bobby Roode. Borash apologizes for Bischoff. He has another Twitter question. This one asks Roode on his plans on beating Sting tonight and how he plans on getting inside Storm's head. Roode says the talking and mind games are over. Sting made his bed, and now he has to lie in it. Roode says he'll end Sting's career tonight. He says Storm has never beaten him once. Storm interupts him as he continues to talk. The two stare each other down. Storm says they have a title match at Lockdown, but he's not looking for a match, right now he's looking for a fight. Right now. Storm calls Roode a chump. Roode smiles and walks away. Storm walks off as well.

TNA T.V. Title Open Challenge: Robbie E.

Robbie E. comes out with Rob Terry working as security. Robbie says due to everyone being involved in a match, there will be no open challenge tonight. The crowd chants for RVD. He says since every wrestler backstage is tied up tonight, he'll open the challenge to fans in the audience. Robbie screws around with some fans in the crowd. Robbie eventually cancels the challenge altogether. Devon eventually makes his way through the crowd. Robbie tries making excuses to get out of having to wrestle him. A referee calls for the bell, the match is on.

Television Title Match

(C) Robbie E.

vs.

Devon

Devon goes after Robbie E. right out of the gate. Devon is in complete control, dominating Robbie all over the place. Devon stares down Rob Terry. Robbie sneak attacks and grabs a chair. Robbie sends Devon back into the ring and goes for a couple of pins, but Devon won’t go away. Robbie hits an elbow and goes for another pin, but he still can't get the pin. Terry slams Devon face first into the corner, but Devon comes back with a big shoulder block. Devon splashes Robbie in the corner before hitting another flying shoulder block. Devon sends Terry from the apron to the floor before planting Robbie with a giant spinebuster. Devon pins Robbie and becomes the new TV champion!

Winner and NEW T.V. Champion: Devon

Backstage: Jeremy Borash With Dixie Carter

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with TNA President Dixie Carter. Carter says June marks TNA's 10th anniversary. She announces that Slammiversary will be in Dallas this year. Borash asks Dixie about the main event tonight. She claims to trust Sting, and says she'll be at ringside tonight to offer him her support. She says Roode has disrespected the company, Sting, and the fans, and she hopes it all comes to an end tonight.

Knockouts Championship Match

(C) Gail Kim

vs.

Madison Rayne

Both girls grab each other's hair early on. The referee has to seperate them. Kim is now dominating the offense. The match ends up on the floor and Rayne eventually whips Kim into the guard rail on the outside. Rayne sends Kim back into the ring. Rayne goes for the Scissors Stomp but Kim fights her way out of it. Rayne is choking Kim in the corner now with her boot. Rayne suplexes Kim, bridging into a pin attempt. No dice. Rayne locks in a submission hold but Kim fights back to her feet. Kim turns the tide with a custom knee-breaker type move. Kim hits a big missile dropkick off the top. Kim gets a nearfall out of that spot. Kim goes for Eat Defeat but Rayne fights it off. Rayne gets a few roll-ups for nearfalls, but ultimately nothing-doin'. Rayne gets Kim in a chinlock and screams out loud how they're not friends anymore. Kim eventually hits Eat Defeat and gets the pin to retain the Knockouts Championship.

Winner and STILL Knockouts Champion: Gail Kim

Backstage: Jeremy Borash With Christopher Daniels & Kazarian

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Borash says he received a lot of tweets about Kazarian being the more aggressive wrestler. Daniels interupts and says whatever Kaz's role is, it's still in Daniels' plan. He claims Anderson shouldn't have gotten involved in what was going on between those two and A.J. Styles. He claims tonight both are going to pay for the mistakes they've made.

AJ Styles & Mr. Anderson

vs.

Christopher Daniels & Kazrian

Daniels and Kazarian come out first. Next out is A.J. Styles. Mr. Anderson comes out next, and calls for the microphone. The mic comes down and Anderson speaks. Anderson calls out the ladies, the a-holes, the a-holes and gentlement. He does his usual shtick. Anderson and Daniels start things off in this tag-team contest. Daniels backs off, and Kaz tags in. Kaz and Anderson lock up and Kaz backs Anderson into the corner. Anderson ducks a right hand and beats on Kaz in the corner before sending him across the ring and hitting a big clothesline. Styles tags in and Kaz begs off, heading into his own corner and tagging out to Daniels. Later on in the match, Dixie Carter is shown sitting ringside with a reality show host. Back in the ring, Daniels hits Styles with a punch. Styles comes back with a nice dropkick before he and Anderson hit Daniels with repeated strikes. Daniels bails to the floor, so all four guys end up brawling out there. Back in the ring, Styles suplexes Daniels, holding him in the air for a long time before dropping him down. Daniels ends up in control of the offense. Daniels dominates for a while. Daniels goes for the pin, but Styles won’t stay down. Kaz tags back into the match, and Daniels whips Kaz into the corner, where he monkey flips Styles. Styles lands on his feet, clotheslines, Daniels, and hits Kaz with a Pele kick. Styles tags out to Anderson who comes in and takes out both Kaz and Daniels with clotheslines, neckbreakers and hitting a Green Bay plunge, putting Kaz on top of Daniels. Anderson goes for the pin but he kicks out at the count of two. All guys end up in the ring, but they ultimately all lay each other out. All guys are down. Everyone eventually gets back up. When they do, they all trade blows. Styles sends Daniels to the floor. Anderson beats up on Kazarian in the ring. Daniels distracts Anderson. A.J. makes a blind tag and springboards. He's caught by Kazarian who attempts the Fade To Black. Styles counters, rolling Kazarian into the Styles Clash. He nails it and scores the pin.

Winners: A.J. Styles & Mr. Anderson

Backstage: Jeremy Borash With Kurt Angle

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Kurt Angle. Angle says hello to his son Cody. Angle says he doesn't like his son watching violence, but he wants his son to see every second of his match with Jeff Hardy because he's going to destroy him and show what's wrong with Hardy. He claims he'll rip Hardy's hair off and shove it down his throat. He says he'll rip Hardy's socks off his arm and choke him with them. He says after tonight, Hardy is going to need even more makeup after Angle gives him an extreme makeover.

Co-Main Event Of The Evening

"The Charismatic Enigma"
Jeff Hardy

vs.

Olympic Gold Medalist
Kurt Angle

Hardy gets a big reaction coming out. Angle and Hardy trade offense early. Angle gets a nice, long stretch of offense. The two battle out to the floor, where Hardy whips Angle into the ringside steps. Hardy tries following up with a jump off the stairs onto Angle, but Angle moves, resulting in Hardy crashing down on the guard rail. Back in the ring, Hardy hits a Whisper in the Wind for a nearfall. Angle hits a series of German Suplexes. Angle goes for the Angle Slam but Hardy counters into a Twist Of Fate. Hardy goes to the top, but Angle speedily goes up after him and suplexes him off. Angle slaps on the Ankle Lock. Hardy kicks his way out and hits another Twist Of Fate. Angle kicks out during the pin attempt. Hardy goes for the Swanton Bomb but Angle gets his knees up to counter. Angle hits the Angle Slam on Hardy but Hardy kicks out just in time. A "this is awesome" chant breaks out from the fans in attendance. Angle chokes Hardy with his own arm-band, as he promised he would, until the referee takes it away from him. Angle is the victim of a third Twist Of Fate from Hardy. Hardy is in control of the offense now. Hardy hits the Swanton off the top. Hardy goes for the cover, but Angle reverses it into a pin attempt of his own. Angle uses the ropes as leverage and scores the three count for the victory.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Main Event Of The Evening

Non Title Match

No Holds Barred

World Heavyweight Champion
Bobby Roode

vs.

Sting

Tonight’s main event is non-title. Back and forth action until Sting takes control. Sting beats Roode down and gets a “you still got it” chant from the crowd. Roode tries to leave up the ramp but Sting stops him with a clothesline.

Sting brings Roode to ringside and slams him into the steps. Sting continues beating Roode around ringside. Roode turns it around and hits Sting with chops and a right hand. Sting blocks a chair shot and slams Roode into the barrier again. Sting splashes Roode on the barrier and into the crowd he goes. Sting brings him back over to ringside and rolls him in the ring. Roods begs Sting to take it easy. Roode takes out Sting’s knee and slams it into the ring post.

Roode drops elbows on Sting’s knees now and works them over. Roode keeps control and hits more chops. Roode backs Sting in the corner and taunts him. Roode with right hands. Sting blocks and goes for a backslide pin for 2. Roode comes back and goes to work on the knee again. Roode applies the Figure Four in the middle of the ring. Sting’s shoulders drop for a 2 count but Roode keeps the hold locked.

Roode breaks the hold and we get more back and forth. Roode chops him but it doesn’t hurt Sting. Sting makes a comeback and hits a pair of clotheslines and a big back drop. They end up on top and Sting hits a superplex. Roode makes another comeback and takes Sting’s leg out in the ring. Roode brings a steel chair in the ring and sets it up. They trade shots and Sting brings Roode in from the apron.. Sting hits the Death Drop and not seeing the chair, he hits the back of his head on the chair. Roode takes advantage and covers Sting for the win.

Winner: Bobby Roode

After the match, Roode goes to ringside where Dixie Carter is looking at him. He picks up a steel chair and stares at her before sliding it in the ring. Roode pulls Dixie from the crowd and rolls her into the ring. The crowd chants for Hogan as Dixie tries to check on Sting. Roode yells at Dixie and calls her a bitch. Roode backs Dixie into the corner as she pleads from her knees. He grabs a chair but turns around to right hands and kicks from Sting. Sting knocks Roode out to the floor. Sting checks on Dixie. Roode comes in from behind and decks Sting with the chair. Roode backs Dixie into the corner again and gets in her face. Roode duct tapes Sting to the bottom rope as Dixie tries to undo him. Roode grabs the chair again as Dixie tries to get the tape off Sting’s wrists. Roode continues taunting Dixie and puts his hand over her face. Victory Road goes off the air with Roode yelling and Dixie crying.

Could have done a lot better with the end. But this continues to be the reason why TNA cannot cross to that next level. Clearly Storm should have come out to start to build to next months pay per view. Instead no where to be found in that long boring segment. The next time TNA is on pay per view is LockDown (All matches inside a steel cage).
