What we have right now is the official countdown to tonight's HUGE event from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Live from the Bell Center it's WWE's Breaking Point. Here is a look at what some at Slam Sports has to think about tonight:
But just before we get to that NFE fans here are the teams that I think will win today this by no means says that im going with the spread. Im just picking the teams that will win today so make your picks accordingly:
Miami, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Minnesota, New York Jets, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Dallas, Arizona, New York Giants, Seattle, Green Bay
Monday Night: New England & San Diego
So those are my pics. What do you think make your comment on FaceBook, email or KJE/NFE txt!!
Score one for WWE theme pay-per-views? Um....
Okay, admittedly it's hard to tell if there's real excitement in the air for Breaking Point the first for what appears to now be a full slate of gimmick PPVs from the Fed. It's not likely that this will pop a huge buyrate, but hey, stranger things have happened.
As is, there are three matches that utilize the "breaking point" theme and a mix of others that should be interesting for our friends in La Belle Province to see live. Let's take a look at the card.Kane vs. The Great Khali
Ever wonder what would happen if the world, simultaneously, flushed their toilets? We're about to find out. JR, if you're reading, it's time to shine up the bowling shoes. PETA loses.
Andy McNamara
Why oh why does this "rivalry" go on? This will be as wretched a confrontation as all their others. Maybe they can beat some wrestling skill into one another with those canes.
Submissions Count Anywhere Match
DX vs. Legacy
Jon Waldman
This is either where Legacy is buried or they get one over on HBK and HHH, leading to the eventual (and seemingly inevitable) Survivor Series match two months from now. I can almost feel a return coming from Clique members X-Pac and Scott Hall. To properly do that match, you need two more younger generation guys to get involved, and who better than the Hart Dynasty. Let's play it like this -- Triple H is off fighting Rhodes in a bathroom somewhere (love the anywhere stip), leaving Michaels and DiBiase. HBK locks in the Sharpshooter, to HUGE boos, only for Smith and Kidd to run in and tear him limb from limb, allowing DiBiase to slap on the Million Dollar Dream. Maybe it'll be WWE's way of finally saying "we're sorry" to the fans of Montreal and finally closing the book on the Screwjob, once and for all.
Great build for this storyline. Rhodes and DiBiase looked great in defeat last month, but need a win here for the and to continue. If anyone taps it will be HBK, however, I have a feeling the youngsters get the raw end of the deal again. I’m hoping that future development thinking prevails.
ECW Title Match
Christian vs. William Regal with Ezekiel and Kozlov
Would it be an event in Canada if a Canuck didn't job out? Regal wins.
Hopefully we actually get a match longer then 7 seconds so that these two ring generals can put on a wrestling clinic. Regal steals the gold thanks to some outside help from Jackson and Kozlov.
WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match
Big Show & Chris Jericho vs. MVP & Mark Henry
This could actually be pretty watchable, since Henry and Show are decent in small spurts and MVP and Jericho are MVP and Jericho. Crowd will pop huge for the heels when they retain their titles.
Andy McNamara
Henry and MVP were both successful against the tag champs in singles action this past Monday, which usually means that the losing pair will prevail. Big Show and Jericho are too new and too good of a team to break up as champions right now. As long as Henry’s ring time is limited this should be a decent match.

RETURNS SEPTEMBER 15th, 2009
I Quit Match for the WWE Title
Randy Orton vs. John Cena
I think it would be fun to pull out the Mankind soundbite finish here, but Cena's been absolutely buried the last couple times out and probably is deserving, at this point, of a win. I suspect Batista will make his presence felt here, leading up to his big announcement Monday.
Cena was totally punked out by Orton during SummerSlam so I’m expecting some revenge. Orton retains with the help of Legacy. Cena passes out and the match is stopped, but he does not say the words “I Quit”.
KJE style...
Submissions Match for the World Title
CM Punk vs. The Undertaker
Jon Waldman
If WWE had plans on burying Punk at this point (pardon the pun), I think they've gone out the window with the amount of heat he's drawing. Punk's quickly become the guy fans love to hate. You still feel though that Punk doesn't quite stand tete-a-tete with UT, but he's not far off. Shenanigans could play a bit part in this finish. Think Teddy will tell the ref to "ring the damn bell" if Punk puts 'Taker in the Gogoplata? Punk wins by nefarious means.
This feud is so new and fresh that it will not end right now. I would like to see these two rekindled at WrestleMania and have Punk break Undertaker’s streak. Some distraction or interference occurs and Punk sneaks out a victory by cheating to retain his gold.
Also a match not mentioned is the WWE United States title match between champion Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz guess it doesn't have that much hype on it. Anyways its live tonight be sure to check in about 11:45pm tonight for all the results and then tune in tomorrow night for Monday Night Raw as we are live from Toronto at the ACC where Toronto's own Trish Stratas will be the Raw guest host. What will happen tonight?? Will there be yet another "Montreal Screwjob" or will we see everyone involved reach there Breaking Point??
KING JAY ON TWITTER?? THAT'S RIGHT.. CHECK IT
